Our Fun in the Sun 4th of July!

We had a fun 4th of July. It was definitely hot at the Ward BBQ, but watching the kids in the "bike parade" was entertaining. Sorry kids, your last minute decorations this year leave a lot of room for improvement for next year. We then went home and did the slip n' slide. While Mom & Dad were busy fixing the slip n' slide, the kids decided to take a few pics of themselves. Shortly after the fun in the sun, Nana arrived and we enjoyed a bit of the fireworks over the mountains. The "old ladies" retired early and Wil took the kids to see the fireworks up close. Thanks for being such a great Dad! It was a great family day.

Freedoms!

I just wanted to post a quick Thank you to all those who have served us, our country, so that we can enjoy the many blessings we enjoy. I know that I do not even comprehend all that the soldiers and their families sacrifice. I could not imagine what it is like sharing my husband, child, brother, uncle, father.....to fight for our country. I know there are so many single parent homes right now because people, families, human beings are willing to step up and give of themselves for what we have. I don't mean to blab on, but I want to make sure that I focus on what this holiday means. Not just BBQs and fireworks. God blessed us with this country through so many peoples lives and sacrifices. I just want to say Thanks!! I just hope I can do my part, in my own way. Please have a safe and meaningful 4th.
